Hi, it’s great to have you back on my blog.
On February 27th, we enjoyed learning from my classmates’ presentations.
To begin
with, Esperanza’s group talked about the Total physical response (TPR) which is
about teaching students about body movements. They made us dance and gave us
candies; we enjoyed it.
Fatima’s
group explained the grammar-translation method and the activity was about
choosing the right translation of the words they pasted on the whiteboard.
William’s
group spoke about the direct method, and we enjoyed playing the game
“charades”.
Katy’s
group talked about the audiolingual method, and their activity was about acting
as kids while teacher Katia taught us a song, and after participating they gave
us candies.
Genesis’s
group explained the silent way method by associating colors with vowels, then
they gave us cookies to those who participated in their activity.
Finally, Alejandra’s
group spoke about the Direct method, after that, they surprised us with a test
about writing the correct name of different shapes.
We had a great time listening to our classmates and learning together.
